SWAG and St. John Paul II

SJP2The Single Working Adults Group (SWAG) of Jesus Caritas Church & Chapel of Kristus Aman has chosen to place our ministry under the patronage of St John Paul II.

Among the reasons leading up to this choice is that of his profound love for young people and his call for the new evangelisation. These resonate very strongly with SWAG’s vision statement which is:

To be a welcoming community of young Catholic single working adults, faithful journey companions on the road, encouraging each member to intentionally grow in his or her relationship with Christ and others, to discover his or her gifts and charisms, and to use them for the glory of God, while at the same time being a home with the porch light on, attracting and loving those who have left the Church back into the fold.

St John Paul II, pray for us
